We provide translation services for a broad range of industries.
Our translators are experienced in a variety of fields, such as IT and systems (software and development), applications, cryptocurrencies, etc. We also have experience in translating specialized documents. Please contact us to find out more.
WIth Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, we will place the translated text according to the layout as best as possible. However, if the layout or format of the original text or document is more difficult than usual (e.g., an extremely large number of text boxes in a PowerPoint slide), we may charge an additional fee. Please contact us to find out more.
PDF : Translations will be inserted directly into the PDF.
Other design files : We can translate and create design files using software such as Illustrator. However, the rate will vary depending on file contents, so please contact us first.
Yes. However, we do not currently offer spotting services (i.e., determining the time position for inserting subtitles). We can deliver the translation of dialogues and narrations in Word or other format, but clients must insert the text themselves.
Please note that depending on the request, we may introduce or partner with a company that specializes in audiovisual translation.
The rate depends on the expertise required for the translation.
For example, if the content is general in nature, a native speaker will translate the document directly, and the native speaker check will be included in the translation fee.
However, in the case of highly specialized text that requires a translator who is a native speaker of the source language first, we will quote a separate fee for translation and checking by a native speaker.
We will do our best to arrange translators from various regions upon request.
Mandarin Chinese : This will be handled as a request for “Simplified Chinese” (referring to the common language used in mainland China).
Taiwanese : This will be handled as a request for “Traditional Chinese” (referring to the official language of Taiwan, not the Taiwanese language [臺語]).
Cantonese : This will be handled as a request for “Traditional Chinese.”
*The main difference between the Chinese variants is pronunciation. When it comes to the written forms in terms of translation, there are two main distinctions: simplified and traditional. Please refer to Q3. below.
As mentioned in Q2. above, Chinese is largely divided into “Simplified Chinese” (mainland China) and “Traditional Chinese” (Taiwan and Hong Kong) depending on the region. The main differences are the types of characters and phrases used.
However, as Traditional Chinese can use different words and expressions commonly used in Taiwan and Hong Kong, we can deliver a translation that is appropriate to your needs.
For example, the sentence, “We are a translation agency” can be distinguished as follows:
Simplified Chinese : 我们是一家翻译公司
Traditional Chinese : 我們是一家翻譯公司
If translation projects require the distinguishing of different dialects and accents, our contracted translators in Japanese, English, and Chinese will do their best to accommodate your needs. Please contact us for details.
*Dialects and accents are mainly used to distinguish pronunciation and colloquial vocabulary and should only be used in the translation of dialogue and other human speech.
The general steps for translation services are as follows:
1. If you are not already a client, please send a translation request through our website, and we will confirm your needs and provide a quote along with our possible turnaround time. Contact our sales representatives directly via e-mail from the second order on.
2. Place your order when satisfied with the quote and turnaround time.
(Trial translation offered and/or contracts signed upon your request.)
3. We deliver the translation, double-checked and proofread, by the promised delivery date.
4. Check the contents of the work, and confirm with us that everything is satisfactory.
If so, the project will be closed, and we will send you an invoice at the end of the month.
Meet our translators in the "Our Team" section on our website for your reference. An extended team of translators are also available upon request.
Files will be delivered in the format of your choice. If you do not specify otherwise, we will return the file in the same format as it was received.
